New stuff

- New Game Plus added to the game

- New sidequest (only available on new game plus)

- You can now skip the game intro

- Some quality of life tweaks here and there

- Fixed a bug that caused high level monster to appear in the spring factory entrance for lower difficulties

- Fixed a moving platform in the spring factory area


How do I start a new game+?

once you beat the game, you can restart any saved game as new game plus. Your weapons, powerups and maps will be preserved so you can keep growing stronger!


How do I enter the new sidequest zone?

Once you start a new game plus, play as normal until you reach Treasure Island I. Go to the leftmost part of the island and a new building will be there. Inside you'll start your trip to the new area.

Just for the record:
I beat the game twice, first the "save both parties" way and the "rip orcs" way.
there is no way to kill the humans (or whatever they are), right?

or anything else I could see or achieve by playing a third time?

obviously already did theextra place, had like 200+ attack at the end of run 2

Hi! 

glad to read that! the only extras people usually miss that I can think of is, if you saved the orcs, you can get the fourth weapon under the ruins of the town if you have the lava ring. Other than that, these are the two major branchs.

By killing the humans, which group do you mean? the second set of prisoners?

Since itch does not support achievements, there's no way to check if the game was already finished in a previous save. So you can still force the game to unlock NG+!

Steps to do so:
1. Put on your hacker hat IRL (Mandatory! Send me a a picture!)

2. Locate your save files folder:
- For linux is ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Trapers Platformer/
- For windows is %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Roaming/godot/app_userdata/Trapers Platformer

3. Create a new file and name it savegame.unlockables.save (file extension is important too!)

4. Put the following contents in it:
{"new_game_plus":true}

5. Save the file and start a new game plus!
